Societies Consortium 2020 Annual All Member Convening

On September 16-17, 2020 the Societies Consortium on Sexual Harassment in STEMM held its second Annual All Members Convening. This convening focused on member engagement in small groups on challenging topics to advance inclusive climate and culture in STEMM, sharing valuable resources, hearing from experts, and considering action by the Consortium and individual societies.

Keynote Panel: Society Action to Dismantle Racism and Sexism. 
The panel featured Dr. NiCole Buchanan, Professor of Clinical Science, Ecological/Community Psychology at Michigan State University and Dr. Kimberly Griffin, Professor and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Faculty Affairs at the University of Maryland, moderated by Dr. Shaun Harper, Provost Professor of Management and Organization; Clifford and Betty Allen Chair in Urban Leadership; USC Race and Equity Center Executive Director. Ethics/Conduct Policy & Resolutions Workshop 1. 
This plenary panel featured Billy Williams, Senior Vice President, Ethics, Diversity, and Inclusion, American Geophysical Union and Consortium Executive Committee Co-Chair; Dr. Roxanne Springer, Professor of Physics, Duke University and Division of Nuclear Physics Allies Program Chair, American Physical Society; and Jamie Lewis Keith, Partner, EducationCounsel.
